The idea for Pando

The name Pando comes from the oldest and largest living organism in the world, a grove of Aspen trees in Utah. At first glance the grove looks like individual trees, but with closer examination you’ll discover they all share a common root system. We see many parallels between our product and this incredible living flora. It’s the interconnectivity of our device that provides value to our customers and the communities they serve.

Nathan & Oaklen
Hadlock

Nathan is a maker. His philosophy for creating products is to build quick, iterate often and leverage existing technology where ever possible. He has spent his entire career developing connected sensors, most with a strong predictive analytics component. From thermostats to rockets he’s had his hands in a wide range of projects.

Pando, a device conceived from the desire to bring online tools to the brick and mortar community business, is a product that nurtures every aspect of what drives him be an engineer.

Johnson

Oakley loves storytelling. His philosophy for building brands is managing the delicate balance between form & function. His resume includes introducing Spanish accesory brand SAAKO to an international market, as well as aiding in the launches of several successful projects with his consulting firm, Venga.

As he learned from Pando’s unlimited marketing potential, he saw tremendous value the plataform could offer to retail comapnies looking for that competitive edge. That’s a story he couldn’t resist...
